i saw these shots while fixing some albums and i don't think i ever posted them ever. these were from when Fran and I went to Milan to catch the last leg of the winter sale in mid-january. we decided to do things more cultural and went up the Milan Cathedral. the cathedral was just one of the best i have seen. i guess, it makes up for how fast and stressful life is in Milan. it works. i mean, i hated how dark and seemingly polluted(as compared to other italian cities) the city is but then you see this pink-ish glow from a distance, smack right in the middle of a huge piazza, the cathedral stands with all its pinnacles and spires pointing to the heavens and then you realize you've been staring at it for a while in awe. though there have been mixed reviews about it such as john ruskin's comment, the cathedral steals "from every style in the world: and every style spoiled," I still think it is grand and breathtaking. goes and wanders
